Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2016 Day 1 was amazing. There were three fashion shows that presented on that day. Every fashion brands serve the audiences with their best and distinguished designs. Let’s start it.
Show 1 : “ECCENTRICA” by Rama Dauhan
Eccentrica is all about unique and playful designs. This time, Rama Dauhan tries to break the mindset of “this generation” about wearing monochrome colors like black and white including myself. I think it’s true because sometimes we need fresh and unique look to be standout. But, I believe that monochrome is a must because its simplicity and essy to mix and match. The designer also provided many range of fashion styles from jumpsuit, suits, pattern-shirt, hats and of course culottes.
Show 2 : “THE VOYAGE” by Alleira Batik
The Voyage is about travel style. It serves us with green, blue, silver and gold colors of batik. Alleira Batik tries to blend the batik patterns with a modern touch. The collection was including shirts, pants, kimono, suits, long coat, and bomber jacket. I really love the batik details and the modern side of the collection. I call it high fashion batik. Who agree with me?
Show 3 : “TALES OF MACABRE” by Feby Haniv
The closing show of Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2016 Day 1 was Tales of Macabre by Miss Feby Haniv. Before the show was started , I have no idea what would happen. I saw some models with red shades on their eyes passing me. Then the show was started and the lights were turned off. The first model showed up and the tales was started. All I have to say was I WANT MORE ! or maybe WE WANT MORE. As a new comer of menswear designer specialized in suit, Miss Feby Haniv successfully closed the show with many applauses on that day. It’s really hard to choose one of them. So, my favorites are the masquerade, the face nets, and the red brocade with cane.
